The Fountains at Roseville, Sacramento region's first lifestyle center, is flourishing. The 52 acre project, being developed by Peter P. Bollinger Investment Company, is quickly being developed into a main street shopping experience that will be the jewel in the crown of South Placer County's retail mecca. Designed as a destination for shoppers to relax, shop and have fun from daybreak to sundown, Fountains at Roseville plans to open in late June.

The Fountains will be comprised of 320,000 square feet of specialty retail, restaurants and office space. Long awaited arrivals to the Sacramento region include: Anthropologie, DSW Shoes, Orvis, West Elm, Smith & Hawkin and Sur La Table, among others. Nationally recognized retail already signed include: Whole Foods, Coldwater Creek, Chico's, Z Gallerie and Lucy. Local companies are spreading their wings with new locations at Fountains such as Serendipity, Le Petit Chateau, Drapers & Damons, Sealed with a Kiss and Posh Punkins.

Restaurant buffs will be delighted by the delectable options available at The Fountains at Roseville. Not only will Whole Foods flagship store include its famous deli, other restaurant icons such as California Pizza Kitchen, Peet's Coffee, Big Spoon Yogurt, Boudin Bakeries and McCormick & Schmick's will also make their debut in the South Placer region.

According to Matt Holmes, principal at Retail West, "The finished product will be something Northern California has not seen a lifestyle center of this caliber before. It will be looked at in the same vein as University Village in Seattle, Kierland Commons in Arizona, and Santana Row in San Jose."

Illustrating the Fountains theme, there will be many beautiful landscaping elements throughout the Main Street of retail and restaurants including several large fountains. To attract families, Fountains will feature an interactive fountain for children to play and larger-than-life bronze wildlife statues throughout the property. Additionally, a large, custom central fountain will illuminate its more than 90 jets and choreograph them to music and lights every 30 minutes. Lush landscaping will include many gathering places such as a fire pit conversation area, a community arts area for cultural activities and community stage.
